Stop by today to see the samples in person and sign up for classes, or give us a call at 507-625-8135! We have two sewing machines available for use; if you would like to reserve one, let us know upon signing up. To hold your spot, please pay at the time of registration. If you need to make a cancellation, let us know a week in advance to receive a refund. If the minimum number of students is not met a week before the class, it will be cancelled and a full refund will be made to registrants. Unless otherwise noted, the maximum number of students in each class is 4.
Desert Stars Runner // Tuesday, February 11th from 10-4 // Julia // $25
Both quicker and easier than one might expect, this runner is a great way to use a favorite charm pack - and we also offer kits in several colors. Five offset stars give the opportunity to practice precise points, and the end result is eye-catching and fun!
Simple Sack // Saturday, February 22nd from 10-4 // Terry // $40
Keep these cute, lightweight, and washable bags in the car for errand runs! Easy loops on the top and sides make it easy to hold the bag steady while packing groceries – and it folds neatly into its own pocket. The cost of the class covers instruction AND materials!
Jelly Roll Rug // Saturday, February 29th from 10-4 // Toby // $25
It’s back! Quilters everywhere love this idea for using up scraps to create a small area rug, or grabbing a jelly for a quick, easy and coordinated look! Add a roll of pre-cut cotton batting and you’re all set to have Toby teach you the techniques for creating this project. We have 3 different patterns to choose from and an awesome tool to make it go quicker!
Braided Twist Runner // Friday, Feb 28th , from 10-4 // Julia // $25
This runner is like a magic trick - and there's no binding or quilting required! Experience how the template set, easy-to-follow instructions, and creative assembly come together to create this clean, classic runner. At the end, each segment is twisted and turned and the final product is revealed: it was so enjoyable that we've done it multiple times now!
Intro to Weaving // Wednesday, March 4th and Wednesday March 18th, from 6-9 PM // Vicki // $30
Learn a fun, creative way to use up your fabric stash! Vicki will show you how to take your 2 ½” strips and weave them onto a loom to make a placemat. Loom rental included in class price!

Laguna Sling // Saturday, March 14th from 10-4 // Terry // $25
If you’re looking for a larger shoulder bag, you’ll want to check this out! Easy to sew with a top zipper closure, two large front pockets, and plenty more pockets on the inside, Terry is a bag-making expert and will walk you through creating this design by Pink Sand Beach.
Gemini // Saturday, March 21st from 10-4 // Laurel // $25
This 52” x 63” quilt is a show-stopper, with rainbow hues popping against a black background. Precut 2 ½” strips are pieced to make the fun, offset square block. Pick up one of our kits, or do it in your own colorway!
Make Your Own Barn Quilt! // Saturday, March 28th from 10-4 PM // Cathy // $25
Join Cathy as she walks you through the process of creating your very own barn quilt! You will be painting a 24” x 24” PVC board and all supplies are provided. All you need to bring is a hair dryer for speeding up the drying process, and the quilt block design you would like to create. Need ideas? Check out Pinterest and keep in mind that simpler blocks are better for your first creation. Max number of students: 6

Chenille is a fun way to add texture and interest to nearly any quilt project you can imagine! Add dimension to bags, quilts, clothing, and so much more; simply stitch down the precut bias tape, throw it into the washer, and watch it fluff up all on its own. By the end of class, you’ll have a cute, textured, one-of-a-kind pillow.
Beginner Nine-Patch Quilt // Wednesday April 8th & Wednesday April 22nd, from 6:30PM – 8:30 PM // Sally // $35
Don’t have any previous quilting experience? This is the class for you! We’ll cover the basics of quilting, from rotary cutting, to strip piecing, to quilt top construction. You’ll learn how to make a 54” x 66” lap quilt.
Intro to Sewing for Kids 8-12 Years // Saturday, April 18th from 10-4 // Laurel // $40
Do you have an 8-12 year old in your life who might like learning how to sew? In this class we’ll teach them how to make a pillowcase. The cost of materials is covered; stop in early to pick out your favorite fabric! Reserve a sewing machine or bring your own.
